[ Ping! Suddenly you receive a photo of.. a piece of paper with text on it? Apparently someone wanted to send you something, but didn't want to bother finding out where everyone lives..

It's a photo of a card that has text on it in perfect yet somehow also still legible calligraphy. It looks ridiculously fancy for what's written on it, which is-- ]

ADAINE AND FABIAN'S BREATHTAKING BIRTHDAY BASH!

It will be held today, June 3rd, in the rec room of the apartment building. Presents are not necessary, but a good attitude is most definitely required! There will be drinks, dancing and general merriment, because we all deserve something good after that labyrinth!

Trust me - it will be the party of the century here, and you DO NOT want to miss it!

[ What do you do when another one of your friends shows up belatedly in this place compared to the rest of you and you have to catch them up on everything that's happened so far in this place?

That means it's time for a Boys Sleepover, of course. What else. It's the only way he'd actually let Riz into his room. (He's still locked the walk-in closet though. Just in case. Not that it'll stop Riz, but it might just slow him down a touch enough for Fabian to realise what he's doing before another shirt has suffered!)

He's a great host though. There's mattresses that have been dragged in, now lying across the floor. Where are they coming from? Maybe better to not ask. Or better to hope those apartments weren't actually occupied.. There's a pile of various snacks too. There's all the things one might expect from a Boys Sleepover.

Like Fabian, sitting cross-legged on top of his bed. Wearing his pyjamas. It's a sleepover, my dudes, we have to wear pyjamas!! No, The Ball, this can't just be a regular information-sharing session, it's THEMED. IT'S A SLEEPOVER!! ]

Anyway--

[ Fabian starts, already busy opening a bag of snacks.

It's goldfish. He's never had any.. It's a mystical snack.. Maybe he's hoping they're kippers or something.. ]

Where do we even start? [ ... ] With the lion? Gorgug should probably know about the lion, huh.

[ Gorgug's had a rather heavy conversation with one of the Bad Kids, lately.

A rather heavy, personal one. One that doesn't need to make Gorgug think at all about the others, but he does, and the thing is: he's worried about them. Not in the sort of way where you're fretting over them internally or out, but the kind where you start to think about what your friends have been going through, and if you really know how they've been feeling, and-- maybe you want to check up on them. Maybe you want to know.

Maybe it's the most awkward, weird kind of worry to do anything about, especially in the middle of Important Investigating Missions (and Gorgug knows he can never overestimate how much Riz is throwing himself into it, even with what Riz readily supplies to him), but even though Riz is in his most Riz Mode, and Gorgug is never sure if you should get in the way of Riz being in his element, but he also thinks one night can't hurt, and so: ]

[ The 'can' is very important question in requesting availability from Riz, you see. ]

Of course they could. Even though Fabian is sure the other must be immersed in work - that's the whole reason he was staying back, after all, right? To get stuff done - he's pretty sure Gorgug would notice the message relatively quickly and come to see them.

But where's the fun in that when you can have a surprise. Of course Fabian is going for the surprise, and he's immediately doing everything he can to convince Riz that they should totally surprise Gorgug. And it's not like they can't get into their own compound.

Which means that as soon as possible after they have arrived back, Fabian and Riz are standing in the entrance way of the lab, with the former calling out obnoxiously loudly: ]

Gorgug, we're back!

[ Sorry for your poor eardrums, Riz. At least you're some distance away from Fabian's loud mouth because of the height difference and all.. ]
