I thought she could've been someone's pet, or familiar, or mount or whatever. Why else would she be hanging around an apartment building? But I guess she wasn't?
[ It's not as though they haven't collectively killed the shit out of way more animals than just a lion, so it's not really the principle of the thing. ]
